One hour full flying lesson with a professional instructor. |

The Experience: For anyone interested in learning
to fly this is the ultimate gift package! A ground briefing explaining
exactly what will happen during the flight followed by a full
one hour flying lesson where you will do almost all the flying!
Your professional instructor will let you operate all the aircraft
controls to see just how easy it is to fly an aircraft.
Time of Experience: 3 hours – 1 hour of flying time.
Availability: 7 days a week, during daylight hours.
What it entails: Once you arrive at the airport and meet your
instructor you will be shown to an air conditioned briefing
room. The instructor
will talk to you about the theory of flight – how an aircraft
flies, plus outline how the controls determine the motion of the
aircraft through the air.
Your instructor will then explain how you taxi the aircraft on
the ground, and how you control the engine as well.
Once you get to the aircraft you will conduct a thorough pre-flight
inspection of the aircraft with the instructor learning about refuelling
the aircraft and preparation for flight.
You will then start the engine and taxi the aircraft out ready
for takeoff. After takeoff your instructor will show you how all
the controls work, and in a short period of time you will have
complete control of the aircraft – your instructor will be
hands off!
An exciting landing back at Bankstown is followed by a full debriefing
where your instructor will give you feedback on how well you went.
You will receive a souvenir photo of your flight, a map of where
you have flown plus a set of pilot wings.
Additional Information: The flying school is fully certified by
the Civil Aviation Safety Authority for training right through
to Commercial Pilot Level. The school has the largest fleet of
training aircraft in Sydney, and also holds accreditation for courses.
What to bring: Comfortable clothing, sturdy flat heeled shoes and
sunglasses. Cameras are also welcome!
Restrictions: Passengers should be at least 16
years of age.

flight heads north over Parramatta, past the Olympic site and
onto the Hawkesbury
River.
You then fly over the northern golden beaches of Sydney, and

harbour and the city skyline from the air.
From the harbour your flight returns to Bankstown Airport after

What it entails: From Bankstown Airport the flight heads west across the Cumberland
plain before crossing the escarpment and onto the Blue Mountains.
The first destination is Katoomba, where you will see the Three
Sisters, Mount Solitary and the spectacular cliffs of the Grose
Valley.
After sightseeing over the mountains the pilot heads the aircraft
east where you then fly over the northern golden beaches of Sydney,
and onto the harbour. You will see the Opera House, Harbour Bridge,
Darling Harbour and the city skyline from the air.
