This course is designed specifically to comply with Oman's requirements at the lowest cost. If students are also interested in doing the Instructor Rating course, they should opt for the Oman Option 2.
Successful students will graduate from this course with 100 hours command and an Australian Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), Multi Engine Endorsement, Instrument Flight Rating and ATPL.
The Oman Package 1 has five parts;
- Certificate IV in Aviation (Commercial Pilot Licence) - AVI40108
- Diploma of Aviation (Instrument Flight Operations) - AVI50408
- ATPL
- Additional 25 hours of command flying to take the total to 100 hours command
- Additional 43.5 hours of dual flying to take the total dual flying to 150 hours
The course runs for 62 weeks.
The course is structured in the same way as the CPL for the first 42 week course, and Oman students are scheduled to fly 25 more command hours than the standard CPL course. See the CPL course structure on the CPL page.
