Basair is pleased to advise that we now have a fully integrated simulator and flying course available for the Private IFR rating. You can obtain more information about the course by emailing our or phone the school at any time.
21/03 - Full colour moving map GPS
As part of our commitment to updating our aircraft and avionics we are pleased to announce that LEU now has the very latest in GPS systems installed. It's a Garmin GNS 430 system that is not only a GPS receiver, but also an integrated COM and VOR as well. More information about this exciting installation is here.
21/03 - Live weather images from Bankstown
Basair has installed an Airport Weathercam that provides a live feed of weather images from the fifth busiest airport in the world! Not only will you see the current image, but also a series of past images as well. Click here.

If you have been planning on getting a GPS endorsement for your instrument rating then Basair can now provide all the training required for this. We now run regular GPS ground courses, as well as flight training courses for the issue of the GPS/NPA endorsement. Click here for more information.
